A Christiannan Fable

There once were two serendipitous monsters, Jesus and Anna.  One was the savior of death and one was the savior of worse than death.  They were called messiahs because they were leaders.  Jesus was the leader of Christianity, and Anna was the leader of the Christianna.

    Swim, swim together.

This love they had for one another.  Together they were two serendipitous entities existing in the same lake together.

They were, in fact, in the centre of the Earth, in a deep and unfathomable cave with its own weather patterns.  They were both glowing.

    They swam beside each other.

    Long necks glowing.

    There was a ripple.

Jesus' life was shorter than Anna's.  Unfairly, because he was murdered in cold blood.  Anna lived longer, and died of natural causes, but she was sad about Jesus' death.

"What a terrible fate he had suffered!" she cried.

But her sadness made her own fate worse than his.

She had a long life, alone, in the centre of the Earth, and it was a fate worse than death.

    Glowing.

    For nobody but herself.

It was worse than death.  For she was lonely.  There was nobody else down there.  But what happened to the murderers?  Anna was so lonely that she ascended from the cave to find that the world, still populated by evil, did not accept her.  It made her a little bit happy, because she did not want to be friends with the murderers.  But she accepted all the people of Earth, not being able to identify or care whom had murdered Jesus.

Her happiness was flawed in this way, because she was both not accepted, and yet she accepted all of them, which made her happy, ironically, for who would make friends of criminals?
