L'Observation des étoiles

You sit back in your forest green lawn chair (an one with an cup holder), getting really comfortable, and you look up at the stars.  Surrounded by people you love, whose eyes pierce you as much as they do the stars, you find yourself wondering if for every death there is created an new star.  And that is how God rules the universe.

You have the strong feeling your family is there even though you can't see them in the crowd.

Then you realize maybe, you're already looking up at them.

Maybe God creates an new star for every human born.

But you have another agenda when it comes to gazing at the stars.

Your desire to tell stories about our purpose in the cosmos.

Why such an vast and empty (in terms of living animation) universe is ours for its exploration.

What having an campfire in Canada has to do with it.

Why, as an people, we come from the stars.  And why our ultimate destination and purpose is with the stars too.

    Why are we here?

What is Planet Earth relative to the whole cosmos?

Why do stars continue to inspire and invent us; what we are capable of?  We one day to draw energy and resources from an thousand solar systems all at once?

And my greatest sense of purpose comes from gazing at the stars.

I want people to be everywhere.  To explore the cosmos.

I want space, eventually, to be our whole encapsulated home; and us not to be limited to only one planet and soil.  Isn't that our purpose?  Why we are here?

God wants us to live and love in exploration of the universe for eternity.

Deriving great pleasure from all of our accomplishments.
