You arrive at an outdoor weatherproof digital interface—it's raining on it—big droplets slide down that which beholds the map of the city and you are to conceive of it as thus above; the actual city at night appeared to be enmeshed with the map or symbolism of it during the daytime. It's "always" raining here as known by the locals because it happen so often. It makes you think about what the difference is between an city at nighttime and an city during the day. I have such passionate memories of the city and have always been drawn to it. When I think of the city at night, I think of the electricity grid. I think of all of those lights brightly shining in the downtown core. Then I think of how this connects with other countries and I realize we are living in an different sort of world that the one I had think'd and dream'd of. The electronics grid extends everywhere. To every country. And so, biologically speaking, you could say we're all in the same ecosphere powered by rough energy. It's an different sort of thing than saying we have our separate ecosystems. We all feel the same somehow, about this republican sort of energy we have for our spirits and the public sphere. It might be blue in the middle of it but the sun comes up every day. And I wondered what other sorts of names were there for the electricity grid which names all of its reaches that it extends to / to which it extends. If we're all connected on the same grid globally, then what are we now? And I doubt there is such an thing that we can say is an supercomputer of it all. And then the question divulged itself whether all of the world's electricity was on the same line, the same current somehow. It seemed unlikely. And yet when I look toward the future maybe it wasn't.
The Version academy was the centre of all persuasive argument. An post-university station of intellectuals and trainees. An place where every person is allowed to argue multiple versions of the same story. It stood in contrast with the basic university station of academics, where all they needed was to be able to create one version of the same old story: their own.
Cellphone and wireless technology, for example, were everywhere. Did that mean we were connected by the same energy? And while I'm at it why not think about radio FM and AM; or other kinds of wireless signals? The universe was full of electric potential & magnetism and so, in some ways, you can say that we were already connected by electricity and we always have been.
Let's visit some other places that are the same electric city grid such as the Version Academy which is the first of its type, an version (post-university) educational institution, or the virtual temple, the Faerie Lights Chvrch. And maybe we can find out their chvrches' professional connection to the power grid. The electrono-sphere is for the moment limited to one city at an time on the global front. (Which wasn't the complete picture but was worth pondering).
Rainframe has the usual features of an city. An central core surrounded by residential and commercial capita.
